Biography

Jeremy B. Blevins is a CIS Instructor at Calhoun Community College and Senior Compliance Assessor for Sentar, Inc. He began his career as a Radio/COMSEC Repairer in the Army National Guard and has over 20 years of experience in Information Technology, specializing in Cybersecurity for the past decade.

Jeremy holds an Associate of Applied Science in Missile and Munitions Technology from Calhoun Community College, a Bachelor of Business Administration from Faulkner University, a Master of Science in Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and a Master of Professional Studies in Cyber Policy Risk Analysis from Utica University. Additionally, he holds numerous certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CompTIA Infrastructure Security Expert, and CompTIA Security Analytics Expert.

He serves as Treasurer of the Calhoun Community College Alumni Association, past President of the InfraGard Huntsville Member Alliance, Senior Member of the Information Systems Security Association, Chapter Coordinator in the Order of the Sword and Shield, and a Local Board Member for the Selective Service System. He is also actively involved in The American Legion and the Boy Scouts of America.

His honors and awards include the Army Achievement Medal, 1996 HHC 142d Signal Brigade Soldier of the Year, Kentucky Colonel, and the 2023 recipient of the Cyber Huntsville Cybersecurity Academia Leadership Award.
